During 2008 we worked with FCS on an interpretation strategy for Tweed Valley
Forest Park in the Scottish Borders. This identified a range of interpretive projects
across the seven forests along the River Tweed, with a particular focus on
Glentress, where new visitor facilities are being developed.
In the same year, we helped FCS, Wildlife Trust Scotland and the RSPB to
establish an interpretive strategy for The Great Trossachs Forest, a major native
woodland regeneration project, and developed an interpretive action plan for
FCS’s Loch Katrine, which lies at the heart of the Forest.
During 2007, we were invited to establish a Regional Interpretation Strategy for
Argyll Forests. This set out an interpretive vision for this distinctive area, which
lies across three forest districts.
